A state level Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) – 2026 are being conducted by Kakatiya University for admissions into various P.G (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, etc;) courses, P.G. Diploma courses and 5 years Integrated Programmes ( M.A., M.Sc., M.B.A) offered by Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities for the Academic year 2026-27.

The TG CPGET Results 2026 will be released by Kakatiya University, after successful completion of the exam Available on August. candidates who appeared for the entrance test will be able to check their result by visiting the website www.manabadi.co.in & official website i.e. www.osmania.ac.in.

The postgraduate aspirants will be called up for CPGET Notification 2026 according to the Merit list prepared on the basis of marks scored. The process of CPGET 2026 Counselling includes online registration, payment of CPGET Counselling fee, certificate verification and allotment of seats. TS CPGET Cutt Off Marks:

The minimum cut-off marks in the entrance test for OC/BC category candidates to become eligible to seek admission into any course is 25% at the entrance test. However, there is no minimum cut-off for SC/ST category candidates.

  • The results of the entrance tests will be made available in the websites, www.osmania.ac.in, www.tscpget.com, www.ouadmissions.com, www.cpget.tsche.ac.in & Manabadi.co.in.
  • The candidates will be admitted into a course/subject based on the ranks secured in the concerned Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) subject to rules of reservations. In case of a tie in the rank, the order of merit will be decided on the basis of:
  • age of the candidate (senior in age will be getting higher priority)
  • Percentage of marks secured by the candidate in qualifying examination. For M.P.Ed. Course, in case of a tie in the rank the order of merit will be decided on the following basis
    • marks secured in part-A of the entrance test.
    • Age of the candidate (senior in age will be getting higher priority)
    • Percentage of marks secured by the candidate in qualifying examination.

CPGET 2026 Counselling process

  • The TG CPGET Counselling Dates 2026 is an online mode admission process. The candidates are allotted seats as per the Merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained and the reservation criteria laid down by the Osmania University.
  • Candidates are required to login to receive the PIN to the registered Mobile number.
  • Thereafter, candidates are required to register online and exercise web options as per the given schedule. Aspirants can fill the order of preferences in the web-based mode, the i.e online mode only. Candidates must take utmost care while filling up their order of preferences, as the allotment of seats will be done on the basis of preferences.
  • After the college preference selection, the postgraduate aspirants have to get their Certificate verification done at the Helpline centre.
  • The candidate has to download the provisional allotment and report to the allotted college.

Telangana State Engineering General Entrance Examination (TG ECET-2026) conducted by Osmania University on behalf of the State Higher Education Council of Telangana (TSCHE). About AP PECET 2026 :

APPECET-2026 is the Physical Education Common Entrance Test for admission in to B.P.Ed regular Courses offered by State Universities and Professional Colleges under the Jurisdiction of A.P State Council of Higher Education for the academic year 2026-27. The APPECET-2026 will be conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur on behalf of APSCHE. The Office of the Convener, AP PECET-2026 is located in Andhra University Campus.

The National Educational Policy, 1986, recommended that state level planning and coordination of Higher Education shall be done through councils of Higher Education and that the University Grants Commission (UGC) and these Councils will develop coordinative methods to keep a watch on standards

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has accordingly constituted a State Council of Higher Education as recommended in the National Educational Policy of the Government of India and as recommended by the Committee constituted by the UGC.

Results for TG EAPCET 2026 will be announced online on the official eapcet.tsche.ac.in website. Candidates will be able to use their registration number, qualifying exam hall ticket number and date of birth to verify their eapcet outcome 2026.

The results of the TG EAPCET will be announced in the form of a scorecard showing the candidate’s points, qualifying status and rank. Candidates who will be considered qualified on the basis of the 2026 results of the TG EAPCET will be prepared for rounds of therapy and seat allocation.

As per the survey, from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, about 1,19,187 candidates appeared for the TG EAPCET 2026. Counselling on TG EAPCET 2026 will be performed in the Second week of Aug. Classes for technical courses, as per UGC guidelines, are scheduled to begin on August.

Criteria for Ranking in TG EAPCET 2026 Engineering Stream

Applicants who have obtained a qualifying mark in TG EAPCET 2026 and applicants belonging to the SC / ST group for whom a qualifying mark has not been prescribed shall be allocated a rank in the order of merit on the basis of the combined score obtained by giving 75% weight to the Normalised marks obtained in TG EAPCET 2026 and 25% weight to the marks obtained in the release.

In the case of more than one student obtaining the same combined score obtained as above, for the preparation of the merit list, the tie shall be resolved to determine the relative ranking by successively considering the following combined score as stated above.

  • The total Normalized marks secured in TG EAPCET 2026
  • The normalized Marks secured in Mathematics in TG EAPCET 2026
  • The normalized marks secured in Physics in TG EAPCET 2026
  • The Percentage of Aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination
  • If the tie still persists the date of birth of the concerned candidates, the older being given preference over the younger.

The weightage of marks in the case of candidates belonging to the category of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders will be decided by a committee constituted by the competent authority.
