TSWREIS Entrance test application date extended

The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) extended the last date for submitting online applications for admission into intermediate first year up to January 27.

The admissions will be made through a common entrance test. Interested candidates can visit the society’s website www.tswreis .in; www.tsswreisjc.cgg.gov.in for online application and further details.

Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) is running 268 residential educational institutions (from 5th standard to Undergraduate level) in the state of Telangana under the Ministry of Scheduled Caste Development, Government of Telangana. The Society has been working with the noble aim of providing quality education to the needy and deprived children on par with the other advantaged children. The TSWREIS has been catering to the dire educational needs of the marginalized children especially Scheduled Caste (SC) children hailing from the remote rural areas of Telangana.

Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society TSWREIS has released notification for the Intermediate Admissions for the Academic Year 2019-20 in Jr. Colleges across Telangana on its official Website @ www.tswreis.telangana.gov.in.

TSWREIS Entrance 2019 advantage is it’s being integrated with coaching for IIT-JEE/EAMCET/NEET/CA-CPT/CLAT- 2019-20.

Eligibility for TSWREIS Inter Admissions 2019-20 :

The students who are appearing for SSC Public Examination in March-2019 and who secured up to B2 Overall Grade point and above (above 61%) in 10th class SA-I held in September/October 2019 are eligible to apply.

The annual income of the parent shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per annum, as certified by MRO.

The students of both Telugu Medium and English Medium are eligible for this entrance examination.

The age of the students shall not exceed 17 years as on 31.08.2018 and in case of SC students relaxation of age for 1 year will be given.

The students should produce Bonafide, Caste and Income certificates issued by the M.R.O. at the time of admission, then the only admission will be confirmed.

Reservation for TSWREIS Inter Admissions 2019-20:

For admissions in TSWR (IIT-Medical) Academy (Boys & Girls), Gowlidoddi, TSWR COE Karimnagar and 10 Junior Colleges, the reservation pattern is SC-75%, BC-C (SC converted to Christians) – 2%, ST-6%, BC – 12%, Minority – 3% and others 2%.

Among 77% seats reserved for SCs and BC-C candidates, 60% seats with being filled with the students who studied in TSWR Institutions / SW hostels and the remaining 40% filled with other SC students.

All the eligible BC, OC, ST and Minorities students studying in Telangana state can apply for the remaining 25% seats reserved and based on the merit these seats will be filled as per the reservation to each community.

3% of overall seats will be reserved for the Physically Handicapped children in respective caste who can attend their work without anybody’s help based on the certificate issued by the Medical Board.

Process for TSWREIS Inter Admissions 2019-20:

The applicant can submit his / her application through ONLINE visiting website www.tswreis.telangana.gov.in. There is no registration fee for submission of application through ONLINE from any Internet center in the State.

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the exam dates for various Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Tests (APCET).
The candidates who wish to apply for the these State Common Entrance Tests are advised to check the exam schedules given below for their reference.

As per the exam schedule released by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, the AP CET 2019 exam will be conducted on April 19, 2019, by JNTU, Ananthapuram.

The AP EAMCET will be conducted on April 20, 22 for Engineering and for Agriculture stream, and the exams for Agriculture will be conducted on April 24, 2019. The AP EAMCET 2019 will be conducted by JNTU Kakinada.

Similarly, the APICET 2019 exam will be held on April 26, 2019. This exam will also be conducted by SVU Tirupathi.
The APPGECET 2019 will be conducted from May 1 to 4, 2019, by the Andhra University Visakhapatanam.

UGC Extends Maulana Azad National Fellowship Last Date
INTRODUCTION
The Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Students is formulated and funded by Ministry of Minority Affairs. The scheme is open to candidates who belong to one of the Minority Community i.e. Muslim, Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist, Christian & Jain and are pursuing higher studies such as regular and full time M.Phil/Ph.D. degrees in Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Engineering & Technology. The reservation for differently abled students shall be made as per provision laid down by the Government of India.

Fellowship for minority communities

This scheme is for communities like Muslim, Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist, and Christian.

These communities can pursue higher studies such as regular and full-time research degrees in Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Engineering and Technology.

After the gap of two years, the government has announced 1000 scholarships for minorities.

Last Date Extended

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has extended the application date for the Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) for minority students for the year 2018-19.

The last date for receipt of application has been extended from 31st December, 2018 to 10th January, 2019 through the link https://www.ugc.ac.in/ugc_schemes/ for the consideration for the award of fellowship for the year 2018-19 under the scheme of Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Students,” the UGC said in the release.

Changes in minority scholarship criteria:

As per the latest circular, the UGC has now allowed all the candidates belonging to one of the minority communities who are enrolled for full time research programmes with UGC NET or CSIR-NET to apply for the scholarships.

RPF Recruitment 2019:

The Indian Railways has released RPF Recruitment 2019 notification for the posts of Constable, Tailor & Cobbler in RPF & RPSF. The notification was released in the Employment Newspaper of this week.

The online application for 798 vacancies in RPF & RPSF would begin on January 1, 2019. The interested candidates can visit the online website of the Indian Railways or RPF on January 1, 2019, to submit their online application for the recruitment examination.

As per the RPF recruitment notification released by the Indian Railways, the last date to submit the application form online is January 30, 2019.
