Every year CBSE will conduct ‘National Eligibility Test’ (NET) in 84 subjects at 90 selected NET Examination Cities spread across the country and for the test, candidates are requested to go to the respective colleges allotted to them in the admit card. The University Grants Commission of India (UGC India) is a statutory body set up by the Indian Union government under Ministry of Human Resource Development, and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education. It provides recognition to universities in India. The UGC National Eligibility Test is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. This entrance test makes eligibility of Indian Nationals for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in India Universities as well as in top colleges. Twice in a year the NET exam will be conducted where the candidates who are interested to go on with their career with Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) will take the test. Eligibility for CBSE UGC NET 2017:
Candidates who are done with Master’s Degree or its Equivalent qualification are eligible to register for CBSE UGC NET July Notification 2017. Candidate should have 55% of marks scored in the respective university. Candidate should have 28 years maximum and there is no upper age limit for Assistant professor.
Application Fee Details:
Candidate to take the CBSE UGC NET July 2017 exam, one should pay the fee for the entrance examination. Find the below given fee details as per the category.
- For General Category Candidates the Application Fee: Rs.600
- For OBC Category Candidates the Application Fee: Rs.300
- For SC/ST Category candidates the Application Fee: Rs.150
After the candidate apply for the test and attend for the examination, for the further process candidates will be selected based on their score they got in the written examination as well as they should meet the cut-off mark set by the university.
