TS – SET 2017 Notification, Eligibility, Exam Dates, Syllabus available at telanganaset.org: The Telangana State – State Eligibility Test (TS – SET- 2017) for the year 2017 for the recruitment and promotion of Lecturers/Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges/Universities as per the Regulations of the University Grants Commission will be conducted by the Osmania University. TS Set 2017 Registration Fee:

The application registration fee of Rs.1000/-(for General Category), Rs.800/- (for BC Category) and Rs.500/- (for SC/ST/PWD Category) is to be paid through payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking).

The Important dates regarding TS – Set 2017 is as follows:

TS SET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates who have completed their Master’s Degree from a UGC recognized university with minimum 55% marks for General / Backward Class candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST/PH/VH. Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their Post Graduate examination may also appear in this examination.

TS SET Age Limit: There is No Upper age Limit to apply for TS – Set Exam.

Number of Chances: A candidate can any number of chances.

Scheme of TS – SET Examination:

The TS-SET 2017 will be conducted in objective mode. The test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of multiple choice questions and will be held on the day of examination in two separate sessions as below.

Documents Required for TS SET 2017:

• The following list of documents is to be needed and produced during verification.
• SSC or Equivalent certificate in proof of Date of Birth.
• P.G. Pass Certificate ( Provisional or Original Degree certificate)
• Note: The candidates PF final year are to be produced a study certificate from the Head of the Institution.
• PG marks statements of all Semesters’.
• Latest Caste Certificate.
• Physically Handicapped Certificate (for PWD Candidates)
• One Pass Port Size Photograph.
• A set of all above certificate Photostat copies.

Syllabus and Question papers for TS SET 2017 Exam:

The CSIR/UGC-NET Syllabus, as per UGC guidelines has been adopted for the conduct of TS – CET for all the 29 subjects for which accreditation Is given by UGC.
Question paper for paper-I is common for all subjects in which SET Is conducted and it will be bi-lingual (English and Telugu), Paper-II and paper-III of certain subjects will also be bi-lingual and details are furnished below. The syllabus for paper-I, paper-II and Paper-III will not be sent to the candidates by www.telanganaset.org
