3. Eligibility Criteria & GATE Requirement

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent degree in the respective engineering discipline.

• Minimum Marks Required: Minimum 65% aggregate marks (average of all semesters) or a CGPA of 6.84 out of 10.

• Architecture Discipline: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a valid Registration Certificate from the Council of Architecture (CoA).

GATE Score Mandate

• Candidates must possess a valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 Score in the corresponding paper.

Age Limit (as on August 17, 2026)

• Maximum Age: 28 Years.

• Age Relaxation: Permissible for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India guidelines.

4. Selection Process & Evaluation Breakdown

Selection is executed in two steps:

1. Shortlisting: Applicants are shortlisted based on their valid GATE 2025/2026 score in a 1:7 ratio (7 candidates called per vacancy).

2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates attend an interview scored out of 100 Marks evaluating:

   • Technical & Academic Knowledge (40 Marks)

   • General Awareness in Specialization Area (20 Marks)

   • Presentation & Communication Skills (20 Marks)

   • Comprehension Ability (10 Marks)

   • Academic Achievements & Institute Background (10 Marks)

Final Merit Criteria

• Final Selection Panel: Formed by giving 50% weightage to the GATE Score and 50% weightage to the Interview Score.

• Qualifying Score: Minimum 50% in GATE Score and 50% in Interview for Unreserved/EWS candidates (40% each for reserved categories).

5. Salary, Pay Level & Allowances

Selected candidates are appointed to Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

• Basic Salary: ₹56,100/- per month

• Total Gross Salary: ~₹75,000 – ₹85,000/- per month (varies by city classification)

• Key Benefits: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, Free Medical Benefits, LTC, and Pension benefits as per Central Government norms.
