TSPSC Gurukul Notification: The TSPSC given an official notification for the appointment of Gurukulam Teachers in various institutions across the TS State. Total number of posts to be filled in both Teaching and Non -teaching Staff are 7,306.Inthis as many as 4,362 posts are given for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT). Candidates can apply for the posts through online (tspsc.gov.in) from February 10th to March 4th.

After the formation of Telangana State this is the first time that TSPSC is giving notification for maximum number of posts. Of the total posts, 75% posts are reserved exclusively for women candidates.  Out of 7,306 posts 5,459 posts will be filled exclusively by women candidates. In coming days, TSPSC is also planning to give the notification for the appointment of 700 posts of JL & DL and 400 Veterinary posts (VAS).

As per TSPSC, two step examination patterns will be followed for the appointment of TGT, PGT and others. In Mains, Objective method will be followed for two papers and Preliminary Exams will be carried though Online (written test). Main Exams will be conducted through Online (computer based) depending on the number of candidates. Candidates will be allowed for Mains Exam in 1: 15 ratio depending on the number of marks obtained in Preliminary Exam. Examination dates will be informed in the full pledged notification from TSPSC.

For TGT, PGT and Others…..

  • Paper 1 Preliminary Exam. Those who have qualified in this exam will be allowed for Mains exam. In this, questions are from General Studies, General Abilities, and Basic Proficiency in English etc. Exam will have 150 questions for 150 marks and the time will be 150 minutes.
  • Paper 2 Main Exam. In this 2-papers  will be there for 300 marks.
  • Paper I : 150 marks exam. Questions are from Pedagogy / School management & administration etc.
  • 150 Questions – 150 Marks – 150 Minutes.
  • Paper II: Exam will be in Respective subject.
  • 150 Questions – 150 Marks – 150 Minutes.

For Special teachers in Art, Craft, Music and other…

Only one paper will be there. In this, questions are from General Studies and Knowledge in respective subject.

200 Questions – 300 Marks – 180 Minutes.

TET weightage : 20% weightage will be given for Trained Graduate Teacher (TET)score in this exam. TSPSC Chairman Prof G Chakrapani informed that this weightage given as per the instructions received from the Telangana  Government. For these posts, initially Preliminary exam will be conducted. Those who have qualified in the preliminary exam will be allowed for Mains exam in the 1:15 ratio as per Reservation quota. Selection will be done by giving 80% weightage to merit in mains and 20% weightage to TET score.

No Restrictions on Medium

Since the posts are going to be filled in English medium schools, it’s not that the students should study in English medium only. We are going to fill these posts though having no restrictions on medium. This information can be available in the website full pledged notification. Candidates will be allowed to take the exam irrespective of their medium of instruction i.e. Telugu, English …But examination questions will be in English language only. They are going to fill the posts as per old districts and old zones.
